Overview
Need multi-channel acoustics and environmental sensing together in one package? The AcSense is the Acbotics Research, LLC integrated solution for applications requiring recording or Ethernet streaming of analog and digital sensors on a common time base. Designed to integrate multi-channel, synchronous acoustic data acquisition with UART, I2C, SPI, analog and digital inputs. SPI camera capture available to get images on the same time base as your other sensors. Everything is a la carte, and we offer the full range of integration services from bare-board OEM for developers to fully integrated, customized logging systems ready to go in the ocean.
More than 120 units sold
Since releasing the AcSense line of products in 2023, we have sold more than 120 units including OEM, Mini, 8 and 16 channel acoustic systems to a wide variety of academic, industry, and non-profit customers. Systems are configured via SD Card, providing user control of sample rates, port numbers, and logging or ethernet streaming settings. New sensors added all the time, educational and non-profit discount available.

The analog to digital conversion system (AcSense-ADM) provides 8 channel synchronous, 16 bit data acquisition at up to 52 kS/s/ch; A2D boards may be stacked to provide additional channels. The digital board (AcSense-Digital) provides additional onboard temperature/pressure, IMU, along with the ability to add sensors to streaming or logging via I2C, UART, SPI, and 12 bit ADC.

The AcSense-Mini is a single- or dual-channel hydrophone recorder for use in underwater acoustic data collection. Based on the AcSense-Digital board, this system comes with one to four hydrophones for collection of acoustic data sampled at up to 100 kHz with 12 bit resolution, with add-on sensors such as pressure/temperature, camera, IMU, GPS, and dissolved oxygen.

Fully integrated localization system for use with AcPinger product line for ropeless fishing and other applications. Includes AcSense-8CH deckbox with tetrahedral array on tow body, and our in-house tracking/localization software for detection and visualization of pingers in global coordinates. The AcSense-8CH, AcSense-16CH, and AcSense-XXCH-PLUS are a range of underwater acoustic data recording or streaming systems. Standard features of AcSense-8CH include ethernet streaming or logging of 8 channels synchronous analog, on-board IMU and vacuum sensor, external temperature/ pressure sensor. Custom arrays, sensors, and connector configurations available on request.
