Accessible In Situ Sampling
The AcSample was designed for accessible, affordable, filter-flexible, rapid triplicate in situ eDNA sampling. The initial design includes two depth versions (AcSample-5m and AcSample-M) aimed at riverine and coastal sampling; AcSample-5m available now; AcSample-M to be released spring 2026. On recovery, remove and preserve your filter as desired or per manufacturer instructions. Key features include:
- Filters on inlet; Luer lock filter attachment per filter
- 3 independent filter/pump/flow sensor systems for true simultaneous triplicate sampling
- Logging of pressure/temperature/RTC for system, flow rates/current draw per pump
- Configurable pump control, with options for volume-based, time-based, depth-triggered and time-triggered pumping
- Duty cycle mode for extended sampling
- External LED indicator
- Shore cable data offload, charging, and system configuration

Use the AcSample-5m for in situ, submerged sampling in coastal waters at depths up to 5 m either as a weighted bottom sampler or attached to a mooring.
